Welcome to Beam Neuropsychology & Assessment

Transformative neuropsychological assessments for children, teens, and young adults in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and online throughout California.

At Beam Neuropsychology & Assessment, we provide neuropsychological evaluations for a wide array of conditions, including learning disabilities, depression, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

We are sensitive, attentive, and informative throughout the assessment process, after which children and their families will better understand the challenges their child faces within an attachment framework and scientifically-based context.

Our goal is to help children and their families make sense of their lives, including teaching them an emotionally based vocabulary to help them put words to their struggles, needs, values, and aspirations.

At Beam, we consider the overall well-being of our clients by presenting a “whole child” case formulation. That is, we consider the child’s biological, psychological, social, and cultural aspects, aiming to understand the “why” of their behaviors and then provide guidance for interventions that will ultimately improve their functioning and address their social emotional needs.

After the assessment process, we continue to support families and young adults by helping them to find and connect with appropriate treatment, as well as accommodations application and interdisciplinary coordination with other providers. We will always be available for follow-up consultations to ensure that our clients are receiving appropriate intervention and support.

We provide ongoing support through our client-focused, therapeutic assessment, psychotherapy and skills-building groups, as well as follow-up care, always striving to help our clients so that they can thrive in this complex, fast-changing world.
